Our Perforated FIMT (PST) is an excellent fiber optic cable solution, combining ultimate performance and great protection. An anti-corrosive alloy protects the fragile optical fiber from external forces, while the perforations allow peak optical sensing, including Distributed Acoustic Sensing, Liquid Sensing, and Gas Sensing.
The outer diameter of our perforated steel tube fiber optic cable is just 2.3 mm, which makes it a preferred choice for integration as a sensor in larger cable configurations. The perforations along the fiber optic cable provide unique enhanced optical sensing abilities, measuring various environmental values without compromising the structural integrity of the protective armor.
