Fiber in Metal Tubes which are covered with a thick wall aluminum layer are mainly used for OPGW (Optical Ground Wire) applications but also to provide a higher electrical performance as a complete element of a rope. The aluminum layer, as well as all other components included in this product are produced according to the highest quality standards in the industry. The metal tube itself and also the outer aluminum layer protects the integrated optical fibers against mechanical stress, hydrogen and other environmental influence in order to provide maximum optical lifetime for their application. All dimensions of the product can be adapted to meet the requirements and needs to offer great performances in the field.
